What is diploma equivalency?

Diploma equivalency allows you to have a foreign diploma recognized in Belgium. This way, you can determine the level of education in Belgium that corresponds to your foreign diploma.

You can choose between recognition by the Flemish Community or the French-speaking Community.

For the Flemish Community: Submit your application online at NARIC-Vlaanderen. You can choose between recognition at a level (e.g., master’s) or specific recognition (e.g., master’s in biology).

Is diploma equivalency required to pursue higher education?
