Yes, it does. Most translators prefer working directly from a screen. Providing a text in digital format allows the translator to display both the source and target documents in separate program windows, which enhances productivity.

Additionally, digital documents can be processed using translation software. This does not mean the program translates the text automatically, but it assists the translator in maintaining internal consistency—ensuring that the same terminology is used consistently throughout the document.

In this way, the format in which a document is submitted can directly impact the quality of the translation.

A recurring challenge. Many of our clients send us preliminary versions of texts for translation, with revisions to follow later. Admittedly, sometimes this is unavoidable, but we strongly recommend sending us the most finalized version possible.

Processing multiple revision and correction rounds requires a significant amount of extra time, making translation projects unnecessarily expensive. This is especially true for multilingual projects, where version management can become complex, increasing the risk of errors.

The price depends on the length and content of the document you provide. If the document follows a fixed format (such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, diploma, etc.) and is one A4 page long, a fixed fee will be charged. This amount depends on the type of document.

If the document does not follow a fixed format or exceeds one A4 page, we charge a price per word. This price depends on the language combination you require.
